Over the last 12 months, information Nick's Vintage Clothing has gathered about California shoppers falls into a few buckets: things that identify you (like your name, email, phone, and address), records of what you've bought from us, technical details about how you browse our site (IP address, cookies, device info), and, since we ship physical products, an approximate location tied to your delivery address.
What You Can Ask Us to Do
- Show you what we have — request a rundown of the specific information we've collected about you, along with why we collected it and who (if anyone) it was shared with
- Delete it — ask us to erase the personal information we hold on you, with a few standard exceptions (for example, records we're legally required to keep for tax purposes, or information tied to an order still being processed)
- Fix it — flag anything inaccurate in your records and we'll correct it
- Say no to data sharing — Nick's Vintage Clothing doesn't sell customer data for money, full stop. If certain site cookies used for advertising purposes count as "sharing" under CPRA's broader definition, you're free to opt out of that at any point

Once verified, California law gives us up to 45 days to respond, with the option to extend that once by another 45 days if we let you know why.
Using Someone Else to Submit on Your Behalf
California allows you to have another person or service (an "authorized agent") file a privacy request for you. If that's the route you take, we'll ask for proof that you've authorized them, and we may still reach out to confirm your identity separately.
Opting Out of Data "Sales" or "Sharing"
To be direct: we don't sell your personal information, and we never have. If you're concerned about advertising cookies on our site potentially qualifying as a "share" under California's newer, broader rules, you can opt out anytime — just email us or update your cookie settings in your browser.
Your Annual Disclosure Right ("Shine the Light")
